ET Ranch is a proud family-operated cattle ranch with deep roots in South Louisiana. For three generations, the Cavalier family has been dedicated to raising quality cattle while preserving the traditions and values of the ranching industry.

ET Ranch specializes primarily in registered Hereford cattle, known for their maternal strength, longevity, and performance. In addition to purebred Herefords, the ranch produces Baldy cross cattle and Chifords, combining the desirable traits of Hereford and Chianina genetics to create functional, competitive, and high-quality cattle.

With the growth of our show cattle program, ET Ranch has expanded its breeding program to include additional breeds and genetics to meet the demands of today's cattle industry. Alongside our Hereford-focused foundation, we have introduced Angus, Shorthorn, and Charolais genetics, as well as multiple registered dairy breeds. This diverse approach allows us to produce cattle that excel in both the show ring and in practical production environments while offering opportunities for youth exhibitors and cattle enthusiasts alike.
